Are Colleen Hoover books graphic?
“It Ends with Us” by Colleen Hoover is generally recommended for mature readers due to its themes of domestic violence and complex relationships. The book deals with heavy subject matter, including abuse and its psychological effects, which may not be suitable for younger readers. To answer questions about Code Name Verity, please sign up. Mike People might jump on me for this, but this book is not suitable for children (under 12). There is some very strong language and dark tones to the book that young readers should not be exposed to.maybe a mature 16). It's definitely not YA, though, and it has sex and some mature elements. I might have read it as a teen, but I wouldn't personally recommend it for teens, especially under 16.

Is Verity too graphic : Unfortunately, Colleen Hoover goes into way too much detail, making readers put the book down (several times) just to take a breather. The graphic sex scenes are so lacking in intimacy, romance, and care that it's hard to consider this a “romance” novel. It's rough, dark, pornographic, and uncomfortable.

After all, no matter how devoted Jeremy is to his injured wife, a truth this horrifying would make it impossible for him to continue to love her. Due to extremely mature content, this book is recommended for readers 18+.

Does shatter me have 18 scenes : Nothing graphic at all, one part where the main character says the word sex, other than that just kissing.

I've read a number of dark romances, but I would not recommend this to anyone under the age of 21 or someone who has an extremely strong stomach. The romance was interesting, the writing was well written, the characters were interesting, but the extremely rough subject matter made it hard to enjoy.

This is not a children's book-there is some violence and death (after all, it is a war story about a POW). It can be a bit scary. There is no real romance, which is refreshing for a YA novel. My very favorite part of the story was the friendship between the two girls.

Why is Shatter Me 14+

Madi ~☆TheBookNerdDiaries☆~ There are some very vague sex scenes that are often lost in random metaphors and mentions of wanting to commit suicide/self-harm in the first book, not sure about the others. I'd say if you are a parent, read this before your child and judge it.but if you want a age rating id say a mature 12 year old could handle it but 14+ sound fine.Bookstop Kw | Cat & Mouse Duet (Haunting & Hunting Adeline) By H D Carlton Age Rating: 18+ Check trigger warnings Overview: "The Manipulator.

The biggest issue with the book is that the story glorifies sexual assault. In fact, the whole “romance” boils down to Zade stalking Adeline and then forcing her into a sexual relationship using coercion and violence. The lack of consent is absolutely appalling. The spice was there but it did take time to lead up to any spice, it is not immediate. Some consider this extra spicy but I think I disagree. It's spicy and racey as dark romance is…but I wouldn't say extremely/extra spicy. I've heard so much about this book from TikTok and how everyone is wishing for their own Zade.
