Why is AOE2 better than AOE1 : The AOE 2 is the best among any age of empires title. The features like ability to garrison and gates with buildings like castle and all make it much better than the AOE 1. In AOE 1 all civs are almost the same but in AOE 2 we have slight differences in terms of unique units and unique tech.

Is AOE2 worth it

In my opinion, this is the greatest game of all time. A brilliant RTS with a highly active player base, beautifully crafted campaigns & scenarios and competitive online multiplayer. There is also a bunch of support with an amazing community and tournaments hosted often that can be a ton of fun to watch & play.

A very decent sequel of a great series that builds up on its legacy rather than dramatically changing it. Enjoy eight very different experiences for each playable nation as you go through their most significant historical periods in great detail.Age of Empires IV was one of the best games of 2021. But for a lot of returning fans, it was also one of the best games of 2022 — and could still be one of the best games of 2023.
