How much does Sunbreak add : Sunbreak adds 17 monsters to Rise's roster. Most of these are creatures Monster Hunter veterans have tackled before in other games. However, there are four brand new monsters to the franchise in Sunbreak, including the flagship Elder Dragon, Malzeno.

You can access Sunbreak DLC once you beat the 7* (HR7) Urgent Quest in Gathering Hub (and unlock/remove your Hunter Rank/HR cap). But the best time to access Sunbreak DLC is after you beat the final boss of the game at HR50 (there are also three other Urgent Quest at HR20, HR30 and HR40 respectively).

Also there are steadily still new updates for the game with new content, which you need Sunbreak for to access. If you liked Monster Hunter Rise without the expansion, you will love the game with the expansion. For a full Monster Hunter Rise experience, having the Sunbreak expansion is a must.

Is Sunbreak a standalone game

Sunbreak is not a standalone title and requires the base Rise to play. If Rise leaves gamepass you'll need to buy it in order to continue playing Sunbreak.When focusing on the main objectives, Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak is about 32½ Hours in length. EVEN if you don't enjoy the base MHR, Sunbreak is definitely worth it. It fixes so many issues with the base game and adds more. It converts many people (including me) who initially hated Rise into loving it.

Is Sunbreak difficult : Sunbreak is hard, basically. But not too hard. It throws encounters at you that are substantially more difficult than those found in the base game, but like Rise, it provides a number of fresh accessibility and quality of life features to help you cope with its brand new master rank quests.

Is Magnamalo the final boss of Rise

Magnamalo is a challenging fight in Monster Hunter Rise, but not an unfair one. It's not even the final boss of the game. In the pre-release eShop demo, it was a completely different story. Magnamalo, along with Great Izuchi and Mizutsune, was one of three monsters available to fight, and it was incredibly difficult.

Is Magnamalo hard to beat : As the flagship monster of the game, it's going to be the toughest fight in the game you've faced thus far, so even before thinking about taking down Magnamalo, you might need to grind some things out, first. The key to every successful hunt is good preparation.
