Is Age of Empires 4 a flop : AOE4 is literally the third most played RTS at the moment (after SC2 and AOE2). All other strategy games that are played more are either paradox or CA titles. Including game pass, the game has 12k regular players. That's a pretty decent number looking at the overall market.

Is Age of Empires 4 easier than 2 : I've always found two really challenging and have only beaten hard AI once, but I consistently lose. I bought age 4 recently and found the AI quite passive and within 20 game hours I've beaten it on hard. I just hit the 30 mark and I feel almost ready to beat hardest. The AI seems so easy!!!
