Upon Zero's death Yuki's depression returns and she decides she no longer wants to live in the world without him similarly as to when Kaname "died." Yuki dies giving Kaname her heart so that he may experience life as a human and she moves on to be with Zero.Yuki first ends up with Kaname, but after he sacrificed his heart to create more anti-vampire weapons, she ends up with Zero who helped her raise her and Kaname's daughter Ai Kuran.
