Recommended for age 12-16 as there is some content that could be upsetting for younger children. I picked this book up because I watched the Netflix series and enjoyed it. However, in the Netflix Bronwyn and Nate don't end up together, despite Bronwyn saying she loves Nate and posting his bail. Given their reunion is such an integral part of the original book, it's safe to say that fans weren't too happy about this change to the storyline.If you are into drama, mystery and romance then this book is definitely for you. The only reason I scored it 4 stars was because the second one of the series is even better! Recommended for age 12-16 as there is some content that could be upsetting for younger children.

I saw some other reviews but my 11year old son was able to understand it fine and it was ok for him. It depends on your child but I love the book and think it should be worked into schools required reading list!!!!
