Released in 2006, the game achieved commercial success and critical acclaim; expansion packs Knights of the Nine and Shivering Isles were released for the game. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim followed in November 2011 to critical acclaim.Violence, drug use, and partial nudity are the main reasons. Obviously you are a warrior in the game. Whether you use weapons or magic is irrelevant. Not long and starting the game you see a bang his head cut off, complete with blood.Skyrim Base Edition (2011)
Available on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 upon release, the original Skyrim was a truly epic RPG.
How old is Skyrim 5 : It is the fifth main installment in The Elder Scrolls series, following The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (2006), and was released worldwide for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 on November 11, 2011.
Is Skyrim a 16
Skyrim is rated M for mature (17+) due to it's violence, yet ratings are arbitrary. The major game play elements are exploration and combat.
How big was the original Skyrim : The original 2011 base game of Skyrim sits at around a humble 4 GB, with this file size increasing slightly with the many re-releases that the game later experienced. The Special Edition of Skyrim comparatively sits at around 22GB on consoles, boasting a greater scale of content and increased graphical fidelity.
It has to be rated M17+ because of obvious legal reasons, but the actual content inside the game barely meets that rating, but when it does, it's extremely mild. I would honestly give it a Teen rating for violence and language. But otherwise, this game will be a lot of fun.
In my opinion a 12 and above would be okay for the game. If you allow them to play games like Sims (Sims probably have more sexual content then this game) Gears Of War (A really bloody game) or DeadSpace your kid should be mature enough to handle the game. Thanks for reading.
Can I still buy the original Skyrim
Standard Skyrim is still available but you have to buy the DLC separately and that'll cost you more than Special Edition, which is superior graphically, has a better engine and has all the DLC included. It also handles mods a lot better. In my opinion a 12 and above would be okay for the game. If you allow them to play games like Sims (Sims probably have more sexual content then this game) Gears Of War (A really bloody game) or DeadSpace your kid should be mature enough to handle the game. Also the game is violent which is about the only reason it is "M". The alcoholism and beer can be compared to a different game like "Sims" they only is it in certain areas like bars and taverns, not people walking around selling beer to random kids.
Due to the relatively few sexual themes, I would recommend 11+ for most, but a very mature 9yr old could also play this game. Parents should still occasionally check in on the game to make sure their child is not engaging in weird activities. Minor swearing (“D—n You!”), so if you have an issue with that be mindful.
How long is 100% Skyrim : around 232 Hours
When focusing on the main objectives, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is about 34½ Hours in length. If you're a gamer that strives to see all aspects of the game, you are likely to spend around 232 Hours to obtain 100% completion.
Is Skyrim the size of Poland : Using the in-game map size in Daggerfall, coupled with this scale provided by the PGE and the map of Tamriel, the size of the province of Skyrim has been shown to be 121,000 mi2, roughly the same size as Poland, and 8500 times larger than the traversable map in-game.
Does Skyrim have 18+
Yes. But honestly the worst you will see in game is some skulls covered in blood, but other than that I think the reason it has 18+ rating is because first of all there are fictional drugs in the game and because of blood and violence, but nothing bad or nothing I'd consider gross.
Good game, aside from the bugs, but not for kids.
This game is quite good (if very buggy) as a whole, but as an avid player of it myself, I know it has an 18+ rating for a reason. There is a lot of violence (obviously), but also more hidden adult themes. You can complete all the main quests, side quests, etc. eventually when the ebony warrior pops up you can pretty much assure yourself that your basically almost if not at 100% done with Skyrim. But with quests like Dark Brotherhood forever, the companions jobs, Thieves guild quests. There's just no end.
How much did Skyrim cost originally : Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim was released in November 11, 2011. I would say about: $160,350,000 assuming every copy of skyrim was purchased at $49.99.
