The full game was released on April 27, 2022, for both Windows and PlayStation 5, and it as of January 2024 free-to-play. Not a year after release, Sharkmob ended further development on Bloodhunt on May 15 2023. The servers however remain online as of January 2024.This has led us to the decision to stop further development of Bloodhunt. With that said, Bloodhunt servers will stay up and the game will remain available to play. Why did Bloodhunt stop : "Ever since launch, we have been on a journey to excite and delight our players, however, while we have an amazing and very engaged community, we haven't been able to reach the critical mass needed to sustain development," Sharkmob writes. "This has led us to the decision to stop further development of Bloodhunt."
