I've tried many of the so called most popular MMOs recently, including guild wars 2, new world and final fantasy 14, and to my surprise ESO always has players in all maps. It's likely due to the horizontal nature of ESO in its progression.

The main purpose of ESO is to let you enjoy the awesome story and all the quests that are fully voice-acted. The story and quest content in ESO is made for solo players and if you want to go through all the content it will take you several hundred hours to complete everything.

Templars are probably the best class to start with if you are new to solo content. The ease of play, strong class heals, and buffs make this class feel amazing in content right now. This was true in the last patch, and it's even more true in this patch with the status effect buffs.While Elder Scrolls Online's story isn't quite as good as Final Fantasy 14's, it's honestly so much better than nearly everything else out there. Much like the single-player Elder Scrolls games, so much of ESO's narrative brilliance can be found in its sidequests.
