Keith Barron starred in Further Adventures of Lucky Jim, a 1967 seven-episode BBC TV series based on the character and set in the "swinging London" of 1967. This was followed by The Further Adventures of Lucky Jim in 1982, but with Enn Reitel as Jim.

Is Lord Jim hard to read : This is an amazingly well-written book, and an all-time classic piece of literature. Ponderous and difficult to follow, but still a beautiful piece of work. I say "difficult to follow" in the sense that Conrad did not always balance his action and exposition in Lord Jim.
