This is not a children's book-there is some violence and death (after all, it is a war story about a POW). It can be a bit scary. There is no real romance, which is refreshing for a YA novel. My very favorite part of the story was the friendship between the two girls.
What age rating is It Ends with Us : age 17 and above
There are a lot of intimate details about sex – unrealistic sex for a big portion of society – which leads me to my next category… Who is this book written for Look, it would be easy to say this book is written for mature audiences. Colleen Hoover suggests it's for readers age 17 and above.
Is it starts with us appropriate for 13
Neither book was marketed to teens, but this sequel still has enough sexy stuff and romance to appeal to teens. Sexual content includes a few sex scenes between adults that describe genital penetration, thrusting, moaning, positioning, kissing with some detailed descriptions, manual stimulation to orgasm, and oral sex.
Can a 14 year old read Haunting Adeline : To start, the book opens with a warning stating that the book is only meant for people over the age of 18. I can legally vote, drive, and be a functioning member of society, but I still felt too young to read this book. This book is an extremely, very, outrageously dark romance.

maybe a mature 16). It's definitely not YA, though, and it has sex and some mature elements. I might have read it as a teen, but I wouldn't personally recommend it for teens, especially under 16.
Is Verity good for 14 year olds
Depending on the book, a YA reader could range from a mature 12-yr old through adulthood. I think Code Name Verity would probably be best for teens, rather than middle-schoolers. The themes and circumstances are pretty heavy.“It Ends with Us” by Colleen Hoover is generally recommended for mature readers due to its themes of domestic violence and complex relationships. The book deals with heavy subject matter, including abuse and its psychological effects, which may not be suitable for younger readers. It Starts With Us brings back many familiar and favorite characters and introduces some intriguing new ones. And although there are a few steamy sex scenes, it's less edgy than. Most of the writing is less corny, although there are still some gems like using being "taken" for having sex.
Parents need to know that Twisted Love is the first in a series of contemporary romance novels by author Ana Huang intended for college-aged and adult audiences.
Is hunting Adeline spicy : The author said in a Tiktok comment that this book has more spice than the first.
Can a 12 year old read Haunting Adeline : I've read a number of dark romances, but I would not recommend this to anyone under the age of 21 or someone who has an extremely strong stomach. The romance was interesting, the writing was well written, the characters were interesting, but the extremely rough subject matter made it hard to enjoy.
Why is Shatter Me 14+
Madi ~☆TheBookNerdDiaries☆~ There are some very vague sex scenes that are often lost in random metaphors and mentions of wanting to commit suicide/self-harm in the first book, not sure about the others. I'd say if you are a parent, read this before your child and judge it.

Is Hunting Adeline book 2 spicy : The author said in a Tiktok comment that this book has more spice than the first. Ma'am, that "spice" was rape. What on earth are you talking about. The first book of this series was a dark romance.
