The biggest problem, as with most games in this genre, is bot-infested lower levels. Currently, there simply aren't enough "human" players to fill this early part of Lost Ark, making it feel empty and boring compared to the endgame. This problem only gets worse as the game decreases in popularity.

Is Lost Ark a solo game : While leveling, everything can easily be done solo, even instanced dungeons. When you first reach endgame, the first things you're likely to do are chaos dungeons, which are also quite solo friendly. From there you'll soon find your way to the Spire, which is solo-only.

Other than that I would say Lost Ark is superior to Diablo as a multiplayer game. Diablo 4 is really a single player game with some optional co-op if you feel like it. Lost ark is a lobby sim, D4 is not. Both have interesting bosses, but Im surprised D4 got a lot of new end game bosses lately.

Lost Ark is an infinite grind RPG which will keep you engaged over long periods, Diablo will be more of a run through once / twice put down till they release the next season / update when they balance / change classes etc. Similar top down isometric play style.
