I think this is a steam issue. They activated the "if developer bans you, we show the ban on your profile" feature for lost ark when the developer starts sending out random bans to random people for no reason. There is no special activation that gets applied. All permanent game bans show on profiles, no exception.

Actually its a P2P (pay2progress). Of course you can spend real money on this game and get your final build quicker, but its not totally p2w. I've seen powerfull character without spent a dime on it.

Is Ark very grindy : 80 wood for one piece of a structure is absolutely masochistic and to really get a dino pen going would take me easily 2 – 3 hours running back and forth to mine resources, craft, and finally set up the building. This game is a massive grind because of the carry weight and the cost of crafting.

Is Lost Ark fun single-player : I enjoy playing it solo, but many other people do not. My suggestion is just to give it a try and see if you like it. It's free to play, so the only "cost" is going to download bandwidth and maybe a bit of time if you don't end up liking it. games dead wouldn't even bother.
