Rage 2 falls into the same category as doom for me it's one of those games that you should be well aware of what you're getting yourself into before you pick it up games like these are always packedabout 10½ Hours
When focusing on the main objectives, Rage 2 is about 10½ Hours in length. If you're a gamer that strives to see all aspects of the game, you are likely to spend around 32 Hours to obtain 100% completion.The main reason to play Rage 2 is its arsenal. There are ruined complexes scattered throughout the map called Arks. After a certain point in the story, you've got free rein to go find them all. Each one's got a new weapon for you, and with each new weapon, the game gets increasingly wild.

Do I need to play rage before Rage 2 : Kvasir, an Authority defector, rounds out the cast as the resident "morally ambiguous mad scientist" character. Rage 2 doesn't require players to have experienced the first game, but it certainly helps flesh out the game's admittedly meager storytelling.

The two aren't really comparable gameplaywise. This is a FPS and Mad Max is more like a Batman clone. Depending on which style you prefer should dictate which you might want. Mad Max also has more vehicle progression, while Rage 2 has better character progression.

Didn't seem to make a difference, but I forgot to bump it back up to hard. It's got it's moments of difficulty until you get upgrades and abilities, then it becomes quite easy. I'd imagine easy would be really easy. Definitely get this game, really fun shooter.
