Before she dies, Camila explains that she and Billy had a wonderful marriage after the band broke up. She then records a message for Billy and tells him to give Daisy Jones a call, giving him permission to reconnect after her death. The series then ends with Billy knocking on Daisy's door.UPDATE: Soon after this story was published, a source reached out to Variety to confirm that “Daisy Jones and the Six” will not be getting a Season 2 because “it was always planned as a limited series.”After he says that they can “be broken together,” Daisy tells him that she doesn't “want to be broken" and decides to leave the band and go to rehab. However, this decision is based on Billy and what she doesn't want to be rather than what she could be.

Does Daisy go to Greece in the book : In the novel, Daisy asks Simone to join her on her vacation in Phuket, Thailand. But by the time Simone gets there, Daisy is gone, gallivanting around the world with Nicky. Here, Daisy and Nicky stay put in Greece, and Simone and Bernie come to visit and witness Daisy's wedding to Nick.

Was Billy in love with Daisy

Daisy and Billy's love for each other was always evident in the book, but the Daisy Jones & The Six show's choice to explicitly depict their romance in the season 1 finale cheapens their relationship.

Is Simone in love with Daisy : Simone just wants Daisy to be Daisy in the same way that Daisy, when she's in a good place, wants the best for Simone. Having that person say you're selfish and you've gone wildly off course, is pretty devastating. It's a moment where Simone is also falling in love.

Nicky is Irish (played by Gavin Drea) rather than Italian, though still a prince. He marries Daisy in Greece with Simone in attendance before returning to Los Angeles — they never go to Italy.

In both book and movie, Gatsby is waiting for a phone call from Daisy, but in the film, Nick calls, and Gatsby gets out of the pool when he hears the phone ring. He's then shot, and he dies believing that Daisy was going to ditch Tom and go way with him. The episode ends with Billy cradling Daisy, his warm, tear-streaked cheek pressed to her cold, sweaty forehead, begging for his “baby” not to die. She's alive, of course, but she's also deadly.

Why did Daisy let Billy go : Billy gave into his demons and tempted Daisy's by kissing her and offering her what she thought she'd been longing for — a chance to be together for real. But Daisy sent Billy back to Camila, instead getting the help she needed, getting sober, and going on to live a full life as a solo artist and mother.
