1. The Exorcist (1973)Parents need to know that, as usual, the MPAA gives a PG-13 rating to material in a comedy that would get an R-rating in a drama. The movie is heavy on exaggerated cartoon violence (decapitations, knifings, comically brutal fights, zombies, and phony scares).

Can an 11 year old watch Scary Movie 3 : The language is tame compared to its preceeders but features sexual terms. There is no drug use in this movie since the stoner character Shorty is no longer part of the cast. Most of the politically incorrect slang is gone. Overall, this is okay for teens and up.

A great comedy movie that parodies 00's scary movies, a huge improvement from scary movie 2. good jokes, good actors.

Is Scary Movie 2 the best : "Scary Movie 2" is a let down to the Scary Movie Franchise. Scary Movie 1, 3 and 4 were all good but this one was kind of boring and not very funny. Luckily they picked their act up after this one and made two more great Scary Movies.

Extreme violence, gore, and psychological torture. Parents need to know that The Exorcist is a terrifying 1970s horror film about a young girl who becomes demonically possessed and violent. Expect extreme gore, grotesque effects (bulging eyes, sores, etc.), and scares, and two important characters die.

Talk to Me has a fright-filled, fast-paced, and often unpredictable story that'll keep you on the edge of your seat from start to finish.

Is Scary Movie 4 funny

Stephen Hunter of The Washington Post stated that while "Scary Movie 4 never takes you close to death by laughter […] it's funny enough to turn the hands on your watch much more quickly than you can believe." Nathan Lee of The New York Times' described the film as being "organized on the principle of parody, not plot …Scary Movie 2 has a lot of sexual content and language mainly. One actress is seen in very revealing clothing especially in a scene where she attempts to seduce someone by spanking her behind.Constant swearing with many uses of the f-bomb and various other dirty words. There is a scene where a marijuana plant comes alive and starts to wrap a character up in bed sheets with lightning setting his hair on fire letting the plant smoke him.

The script is witty, funny and pretty much laugh a minute and the gags and spoofs are mostly dead on, my favourite being the one with GhostFace and Shorty getting high. The soundtrack is fantastic as well, and the acting is better than I expected even from Marlon Wayans who I can be annoyed by.

Is Talk to Me okay for kids

It is very disturbing. In terms of sex, there are some references to sexual relationships, but that aspect of the movie is very PG-13. The violence is really what to watch out for, as it is incredibly gory despite it being a supernatural ghost movie.

The original Scream is considered the scariest due to its unsettling level of believability and well-developed villains.It is a horror movie based on Stephen King's novel and is rated R for strong violence, language, and disturbing imagery. Due to the graphic and intense nature of the movie, it may not be suitable for children under 12 or 13.

Can a 13 year old watch horror : 11-13 year olds may be better equipped to navigate the scary movie scene on some level but each child is different. If your child watches something that they say is not scary to them but then starts coming to you at night wanting to sleep closer to you or is having nightmares let their behavior speak for them.
