Why is Dracula an 18?
Today's horror movies are all slashers or gross-outs but Dracula is eerie to it's core. The film relies on the concept of a vampire to creep you out as opposed to mindless gore. Scary, but nothing a 12 or 13 year old can't handle. Some sensuality is present, but nothing you'd need to skip through.Answer and Explanation: Dracula regains his youth by consuming human blood. In Dracula, sex and blood are closely associated with each other, reflecting the Victorians' belief that blood is sperm.

Is the Dracula movie rated R : Rated 16 (strong sex, violence, frequent bloody images).

There is also focus on them biting him at various points during this scene, causing bloodshed. Another brief but strong sex scene occurs when a werewolf is shown to grab a woman and thrust her into him after ripping her dress off; she moans in pleasure.

Is Dracula suitable for 12 year olds

Not for pre-teens and lower, but great book.

I liked this book a lot, following the storyline could get quite confusing at first but throughout the book it becomes easier to follow.

Is Dracula OK for kids to read : Count Dracula is not the tortured romantic hero of modern-day cinema, but rather an evil monster that must be destroyed. Also, parents should be aware that this novel has a strong female character turned into a sexually aggressive predator, as well as unsettling descriptions of mental illness.

Dracula would be about 591 years old if he was real.

Can Dracula reproduce

Dracula's means of reproduction is inherently a sexual act. To turn Lucy into a vampire, there has to be a blood exchange between both of them.None of Edward's cells are alive, and even if he still has sperm in his specialized semen-venom, the sperm is no longer functional. Besides, somehow vampires magically grow tow new pairs of chromosomes when they are changed (Carlisle says they have 25 pairs). Not for kids under 16

I don't know why there's parent ratings that say “12+” It's completely inappropriate for a child under 16. The bad language and drug use is throughout the movie. But great for adults.

Not for pre-teens and lower, but great book.

I liked this book a lot, following the storyline could get quite confusing at first but throughout the book it becomes easier to follow.

Can an 11 year old read Dracula : If they like horror, and are older, they can read it themselves. It was a good book but it isn't a children's story. Dracula isn't appropriate for kids. It also has a style of writing that can be rather boring (it tends to drone on and on).

How tall is Dracula : Dracula is popularly depicted at 6 foot 4 inches (1.93 m) tall, but was originally portrayed by Bela Lugosi in Dracula (1931) at 6 foot 1 inch (1.85 m) tall. Dracula, a vampire spawned from the imagination of Bram Stoker and the namesake of his 1897 novel, is the most iconic vampire of all time.

What age group is Dracula

It is more of a teen/adult book. The book is in 3rd person which makes it easier to connect with the characters because you can get everyone's perception of the story. Beware Count Dracula!

Dracula is very tame in comparison. I'd let my 13-year-old read it. My 11 year old read dracula daily with me last year and loved it!She is a paragon of virtue and innocence, qualities that draw not one but three suitors to her. Lucy differs from her friend in one crucial aspect, however—she is sexualized. Lucy's physical beauty captivates each of her suitors, and she displays a comfort or playfulness about her desirability that Mina never feels.

Was Lucy a virgin in Dracula : The transformations of Lucy (and Mina) stress an urgent sexual appetite…” (Halberstam 344). Dracula is not only able to strip Lucy of her virgin state; he is able to plague her with his intense sexual desire.
